From June 4 – 9 students are invited to take part in a variety of musical activities. Students may attend as many events as they wish! There will be no regularly scheduled lessons this week.
Events listing for the week:
- Monday June 4, 7:00 – 8:00 pm: Students will get to take part in a workshop with a special guest: clarinettist Melissa Goodchild
- Tuesday June 5, 7:00 – 8:00 pm – Composition Workshop: Students will learn more about composition. This workshop will be lead by a special guest: composer Janna Willard.
- Wednesday June 6, 7:00 – 8:00 pm – Composer Collages & Ear games: We’ll listen to some music and make our own composer collages in the studio. We’ll follow that up with some ear games.
- Thursday June 7, 7:00 – 8:00 pm – Music Games Night: Students will get a chance to play a variety of the studio’s musical games.
- Saturday June 9, 11:00 am – 12:00 noon Mini-Recital: Students are invited to share some of their favourite songs from the past year.
